Van French

Bringing 25 years of experience in small business management, Van served as the Pollard's Box Office Manager 2004-07, where he guided our move to online ticketing and directed our website design. Returning in 2009 as Managing Director, he now oversees administrative, financial and physical operations, marketing, development, and is our webmaster.  He discovered his love for theatre at Shawnee Little Theatre, working mainly in technical roles of set construction, lighting and sound.  His artistic credits include Renfield in Dracula and a federal agent in You Can't Take It With You; as well as four years of private study in jazz piano and theory with the Chicago's legendary Max Miller. An alumni of the Oklahoma Arts Council's Leadership Arts, Van is a grant review panelist for OAC, a consultant for local nonprofits, is on the board of the Guthrie Community Art Center and the Friends of the Excelsior Library, and is a past president of the Guthrie Transportation Authority and the Guthrie Library Board.
